About the Atlantic Pediatric Society
The Atlantic Pediatric Society (APS) is the Professional Association of pediatricians and pediatric sub-specialists in in the Canadian Atlantic provinces of Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.
The goals of the Atlantic Pediatric Society are:
• To promote and provide continuing medical education for its members
• To enhance communication and collaboration among its members
• To promote child health in Atlantic Canada
The principal activity is an annual meeting held somewhere in Atlantic Canada that provides the main forum for continuing medical education as well as an opportunity for members to discuss issues that concern their practice of medicine and child health.
